The puppies have had a busy 5 weeks. They have experienced much in their short little lives. Not only are they on schedule to meet 100 people before they leave Riverbend, we also have been busy exposing them to everything we can think of…furniture moving, country music, 70’s pop, 40’s jazz, current blues, air mattresses inflating and deflating, daily loving and handling of feet, ears and tails, leaf blower on the deck, vacuum cleaner, dust mop, regular mopping, clanging fireplace tools, a chain saw in the trees outside the living room window (yeah we had some limbs removed), x-pen moving, barking dogs, doorbells, train whistles, and last night we had a whizz banger of an electrical storm.
The puppies haven’t shown so much as a slight startle response. They look upon the whole thing with interest and curiosity. The thunderstorm produced only the munchies for them. They cleaned up their soaked kibble and asked for more!
OK more Krystal photos. This slide show will include shots of each of their fronts. The side shots didn’t turn out as they are squirmy five week pups. I will start working with them on holding still a few seconds at time this week! I can see peanut butter becoming my best friend this week!
